Bringing the Bayou to Destin, One Bite at a Time

Born and raised in southern Louisiana, our love for cooking began at a young age, learning family recipes in the kitchens of our grandparents, parents, tantes, noncs, and extended family. Cooking and entertaining have always been at the heart of what we do, bringing people together over delicious food.

One of our favorite traditions has been vacationing on the beautiful Emerald Coast. After years of visiting, we fell in love with Destin, Florida, and decided to make it our home away from home. The incredible locals, many of whom share Louisiana roots, made us feel right at home.

With a passion for Cajun cooking and our rich heritage, we knew it was time to bring our love of Louisiana flavors to the community. Locals affectionately dubbed us “Crazy Cajuns” wherever we went, and the name stuck! Crazy Cajun Specialty Meats was born.

Today, we are honored to serve Destin, Florida, and the surrounding areas with hand-cut steaks, specialty meats, daily plate lunches, boudin, pork cracklins, wild crawfish, and so much more.
